Reading of the week

Reading of the week

Last week my whole class made a T shaped literacy about character descriptions. I learnt that descriptions about your characters are one of those things that you just have to do in a story so the reader paints a picture of them in their head. My favorite part of what we did in it was drawing our own character. Here is the link to the description of my own character: The Clown

what is Te Maungas favorute number?

 Stats investigation

Last week all of the people made a mini class investigation. We all got to choose our groups, because me and Ryan (one of my classmates)  work so well together we chose to work with each other. First we grabbed our math books and drew a math table on them, our investigation was: “What is Te Maunga's favourite number? Then we wrote down our favourite number. Next we started to ask others what their favourite number was. After two days we finished asking people what their favourite number was and made a Google Sheet, then we ended up with Te Maunga’s favourite number, 9. My favourite part of it was asking people what their favorite number is. I like the number 42.

Then we watched a video of people cleaning the ocean. I don't think I will ever come up with an idea like the idea the people had on the

Food for Thought

 Food for Thought

Last week my class and I did food for thought. Abi (the Food for Thought lady) taught me that Coco Puffs had 34.8 GRAMS of SUGAR!!! My favorite part of it was eating an apple at the Four Square. I would
DEFINITELY do it again.
