The Best Science Day EVER!

In Te Maunga this week we had a visit from the Northland Science Roadshow. We learnt about water testing, rockets and spectroscopy. In water testing we put chemicals in water to see what will happen. In rockets we put a lot of pressure into plastic bottles to make a tine plastic rocket ship. In spectroscopy we got these rainbow glasses so nearly all we see is RAINBOW!

Soundscape

Last week Te Maunga and myself made a soundscape. I learnt that a soundscape is just some sounds put together to make one big bunch of sounds like a forest. My group made a Dragon soundscape. We used some cellophane to make a noise like fire.
